Day 1: Drive from Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve
JAMBO - KARIBU!! You will be collected from your Nairobi Hotel OR Residence at 0800 hrs followed by a brief from Afrikan Accent Adventures representatives will warmly meet and welcome you. Drive North of the Equator to Samburu National Reserve, on the edge of Kenya`s Semi - desert lands where you may encounter some of special animals and vegetation that are typically of this region such as the Grevy`s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Somali ostrich. The best feature of Samburu is not the wildlife of the picturesque surroundings, but the fact that it is one of the lesser visited region in Kenya. The peaceful atmosphere and the authentic wilderness and the bird watching is especially goo. The reserve is fairly hot and Hot and semi - arid, making for easy of game viewing.
Day 2: Samburu National reserve and Buffalo Springs National Reserve
Full of game viewing in the parks. Elephants abound; looking for Lion, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk, grevy's zebra and oryx along the Uaso Nyiro River, the park's only source of drinking water
Day 3: Drive from Samburu National Reserve - Nairobi
An early morning game drive is followed by breakfast at you lodge. After breakfast check-out and bid goodbye to your lodge manager for hosting; not empty handed though. With us are photographs - a capture of the special moments we have had on this tour to immortalize the experience. Drive to Nairobi to arrive in time for late lunch.

The Samburu National Reserve is located on the banks of the Ewaso Ng'iro river in Kenya. On the other side of the river is the Buffalo Springs National Reserve. The park is 165 km² in size and is situated 350 kilometers from Nairobi. It ranges in altitude from 800 to 1230m above sea level. Geographically, it is located in Samburu County. In the middle of the reserve, the Ewaso Ng'iro flows through doum palm groves and thick riverine forests. It provides water, without which the animals in this arid region could not survive. The Reserve was one of the two areas in which conservationists George and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the Lioness, made famous in the best-selling book and award-winning movie Born Free and is also the home of Kamunyak, a lioness famous for adopting oryx calves.
